I sit around 2mb/s with the vpn enabled, if I go into the stack and disable the vpn, I can max out my connection I've set up a portforward IP on the Torguard member site and set my qBittorrent port settings to match. I thought everything was working fine as I was connectable and I was able to seed without issue. However, I've since found out the hard way that my real IP was leaking out and the reason for my seeding success.
